Clash of Clans Raid Weekend: Earn Your Sixth Attack with a Clean Finish

Finish a District yourself to earn a sixth Raid Weekend attack: your attack must destroy its final building. You start with five attacks and can earn only one extra per weekend. A cleanup also pays bonus Capital Gold for surviving troops, including troops you never deploy.

Choose a cleanup you can actually finish

Damage carries over between attacks, so inspect what remains rather than judging the target by its original layout. A nearly destroyed District can still have a dangerous defense or awkwardly separated buildings.

1. Identify the remaining buildings, the defenses covering them and the route your troops will take. Build the cleanup plan around those obstacles.
2. If you have not earned your bonus yet, coordinate with clanmates so you can take a suitable finishing attack. Dealing most of the damage is not enough if someone else destroys the last building.
3. Deploy enough troops to secure the finish, then add reinforcements only where they are needed. Holding everything back and failing the cleanup defeats the purpose.

Preserve troops, not unused spells

When you complete the District, each surviving housing space gives 1 bonus Capital Gold. Both deployed survivors and undeployed troops count; unused spells add nothing. Use a helpful spell rather than saving it for a nonexistent spell bonus.

Illustrative calculation: you bring 200 housing space, lose 35, finish with 85 deployed housing space alive and leave 80 undeployed. The survivor bonus is 85 + 80 = 165 Capital Gold, on top of the gold from destroyed buildings. It is not 85 gold, and deploying the remaining 80 would not increase the bonus if all of them survived.

After the first finish

Use the extra attack during the same Raid Weekend. Further District finishes can still earn survivor gold, but they cannot unlock a seventh attack. If you already have your bonus, consider leaving an easy finish for a clanmate who still needs theirs, while you work on another target.
