Earn at least eight War Stars from your own attacks during the CWL season to receive your full placement-based League Medal reward. Being on the season roster without earning any stars gives only 20% of that reward.

Plan appearances, not just roster membership

The season roster is not the same as each day’s attacking lineup. A player selected for a Battle Day gets one attack that day. Arrange enough appearances with your leaders to reach eight stars; a roster place alone does not give you daily attacks.

  • Four two-star attacks: 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 8.
  • Two three-star attacks followed by a two-star attack: 3 + 3 + 2 = 8.
  • Two perfect attacks: 3 + 3 = 6. You still need two more stars; two appearances cannot reach eight.

Recalculate after each attack

Subtract your earned stars from eight. If the first three attacks earn 2 + 1 + 2 = 5, you need three more: one three-star attack would finish the requirement. Tell your leaders the remaining total while there is still time to adjust the lineup.

Follow the clan’s target assignments and choose an attack plan suited to the base; keep a spare appearance in your plan when possible rather than assuming every attack will hit its target.

What “full reward” actually means

Eight stars unlock 100% of the reward for your clan’s league and final group placement, not the highest medal payout in the game. More stars can still help the clan’s result. Leader-assigned bonus medals are separate: reaching eight does not automatically award one.
