Choose the Laboratory booster for what you are waiting on: crop quantity, animal output, factory goods or ingots. A factory boost is the wrong target when missing crops are holding up your order.
Match the booster to the bottleneck
| Waiting on | Booster | Effect for 2 days |
|---|---|---|
| Crop quantity | Super-harvest | Double field yield |
| Animal products | Advanced farming | Double animal output |
| Factory timers | High-speed production | 30% less production time |
| Ingot timers | Efficient smelting | 50% less production time |
Work out the benefit before activating
Illustrative arithmetic, not actual recipes: a 100-minute factory job becomes 70 minutes. Six such jobs run consecutively take 420 rather than 600 minutes: three hours saved, assuming no gaps and the boost covers every job.
A four-hour ingot timer becomes two hours. For a hypothetical crop yielding one unit per field, a target of 30 units needs 15 harvested fields with doubled yield. That is more output, not faster crop growth.
Make the boosted time useful
Before activation, check the materials, available storage and jobs you plan to run. If those are missing, prepare them first rather than spending part of the two-day window waiting.
