Twilight Struggle: Red Sea condenses Cold War rivalry into a contest over the Horn of Africa and nearby sea routes. Play as the United States or Soviet Union, using historically themed cards to build influence, change political alignments, and attempt coups. Events can sharply alter your options, while an opponent may challenge control of a key country. Flashpoint countries make aggressive moves especially dangerous: escalating tensions can trigger a game-ending nuclear war. Fifty-one cards drive this standalone competition, with an optional extra Late War turn available. Practice offline against the AI or solitaire bot, or challenge another player through asynchronous online matches.
