About This Game
The Farmer Was Replaced is a programming puzzle and farming simulation for Android, iPhone and iPad. You write short programs in a Python-like language to make a drone plant, water and harvest crops, then spend the resources on new commands and farm upgrades. The mobile launch was announced for November 2, 2026; Google Play records an initial listing release on October 28.
The challenge grows from simple loops to functions, lists and several drones working in parallel. A dedicated touch keyboard makes code editing practical on a phone, while Bluetooth keyboard and mouse support offer another way to play. A simulation mode lets you test and improve your automation.
The mobile edition includes The Miner Was Replaced expansion, adding underground programming puzzles and resources such as coal, quartz, mushrooms and dynamite.
Payment differs by storefront: the US App Store offers a free trial followed by a one-time $8.99 full-game unlock. The Polish Google Play listing currently displays a 42.99 PLN upfront purchase, despite also mentioning a trial in its description. Check the purchase button in your region before downloading. The game advertises no ads or subscriptions.
Android requires version 8.0 or later; iPhone and iPad require iOS/iPadOS 15 or later. Polish is among the supported languages.
