Stone Age: Digital Edition is a worker-placement game about growing a prehistoric village without exhausting its food supply. Assign tribe members to hunting, resource gathering, agriculture, toolmaking, and construction before opponents claim the limited spaces. Dice determine gathering results, while tools help improve uncertain outcomes. Materials buy buildings and civilization cards, creating combinations that score at the end. Expanding your workforce opens more options but also creates more mouths to feed, so growth must be planned rather than pursued automatically. The digital adaptation includes three AI difficulty levels for solo play, plus synchronous and asynchronous online matches with matchmaking and ranked divisions.
