Star Traders: Frontiers makes you responsible for a starship, its crew and the consequences of choosing sides in a changing galaxy. Trading, exploration, piracy, espionage and bounty hunting offer different ways to earn money, but each requires suitable ship components, crew talents and relationships. A profitable contract can damage your standing with another faction, while injuries, repairs and crew management complicate the next journey. Encounters include turn-based ship battles and small-team combat, so the best crew for a merchant vessel is not automatically your strongest boarding party. Political events continue across successive eras, and difficulty settings offer a choice between recoverable saves and permanent losses.
