Out There: Ω Edition

Out There is a space-survival game without combat: your enemies are dwindling supplies, damaged equipment and uncertain information. Each jump forces you to weigh the chance of finding fuel or oxygen against what the trip will consume. Mining planets and probing gas giants can replenish essentials, while limited ship space creates a choice between carrying spare materials and installing useful technology. Alien encounters gradually reveal a language you initially understand only in fragments, making seemingly simple exchanges risky. Discovering another ship can transform a run, but transferring equipment and abandoning supplies has consequences. A newly generated galaxy and branching written encounters lead toward several possible endings.
