Build a deck of spirits and spells, then deploy it onto a hexagonal battlefield where facing direction matters as much as attack strength. In Oaken, approaching an enemy from behind can avoid retaliation, but moving into that position may expose another ally. Your hero fights alongside summoned units, making protection and formation part of every encounter. Cards also carry a longer-term cost: fatigue and exhaustion can weaken your options beyond the current battle, so repeatedly relying on the same powerful summon is risky. Between encounters, choose routes, collect trinkets, and decide how to upgrade your cards, shaping a force that can survive the next stretch of the Great Oak.
