About This Game
Not Chess borrows chess-piece movement for single-player puzzles. Begin with one piece on a small board and reach a coin, capturing other pieces along the way. Each capture transforms your piece into the one you took, changing which squares you can reach next. Solving a level means planning that sequence of transformations rather than defeating an opponent or protecting a king. Interactive tutorials introduce the necessary rules, so previous chess experience is optional. Difficulty settings add move or time limits, while Sequence mode asks you to collect several coins within a restricted number of moves. The puzzles also work offline.
