Morels

Morels is a two-player card game about deciding which mushrooms to gather, sell, or cook. Cooking turns a collection into points, while selling mushrooms earns foraging sticks that help obtain better opportunities later. The central trade-off is whether to cash in a useful collection now or invest in gathering something more valuable before the opponent does. The digital version handles the cards and scoring, provides an interactive tutorial and rulebook, and offers three computer difficulty levels for solo play. Local pass-and-play and online matches support human opponents. The optional Foray expansion adds thirteen new card types, including items, characters, and weather that alter the forest’s possibilities.
