Dungeon Warfare 3 lets you build the battlefield as well as its defenses. Terrain tiles, walls, and chasms shape the routes that invading adventurers must follow, while traps punish anyone funneled into the wrong position. Successful defenses award experience that permanently improves your equipment and unlocks abilities, encouraging combinations of terrain and trap effects rather than simply placing more damage along a straight path. Handcrafted scenarios provide specific tactical problems, and procedural dungeons offer additional challenges once those are mastered. Runes let you adjust difficulty and rewards, while endless waves test how long your carefully arranged defenses can keep functioning.
