Dawnfolk mixes compact city-building with exploration and resource-gathering challenges. As the ruler of a kingdom swallowed by darkness, work with a fiery companion named Lueur to reclaim land and establish settlements. Building choices shape local stories, while resources keep the population supplied and help the city expand beyond its starting tents. Skill-based minigames provide additional materials between management decisions. Different modes support real-time or turn-based play, with adjustable difficulty for more demanding runs. The compact design encourages experimenting with layouts while discovering how the settlement’s systems interact.
