Deals damage around Jacky rather than firing a narrow shot in front of her. Move into a position where the surrounding area matters; spending attacks before an opponent enters that space gives away pressure without connecting.
Super1 options
Artwork unavailableHOLEY MOLEY!Details
Pulls nearby enemies toward Jacky. Use it to bring targets into Groundbreaker's area or disrupt their positioning, then be ready to attack. Pulling several opponents close is dangerous if Jacky has no ammunition or support for the follow-up.
Gadgets2 options
PNEUMATIC BOOSTERDetails
Temporarily increases Jacky's movement speed. Use it when a short burst of movement will actually change the fight: reaching attack range, joining a teammate's push, or getting back to cover. Check the opponent's escape route before committing to a chase.
REBUILDDetails
Restores destroyed terrain around Jacky. Use it to recover useful cover or reshape an approach after a wall-breaking attack. Stand near the damaged area you want to restore, and consider whether rebuilding it will also obstruct a teammate's firing line or route.
Star Powers2 options
COUNTER CRUSHDetails
Returns some of the damage Jacky receives to enemies close to her. It adds punishment to close-range exchanges, but taking unnecessary damage at a distance will not create a useful trade. Position first rather than treating the reflection as a reason to absorb every shot.
HARDY HARD HATDetails
Passively reduces incoming damage. Choose it when staying alive through the approach and the follow-up fight matters more than retaliatory damage. The protection buys room to act; it does not remove the need to retreat when opponents control the engagement.
Hypercharge1 options
SEISMIC EVENTDetails
Adds a slow around Jacky when she uses Holey Moley. It helps keep pulled targets within reach after the initial displacement, rather than supplying a long-range way to catch every opponent.
Traits1 options
The options below may not be a complete list.
Artwork unavailableDamageDetails
Taking damage contributes to Super charge. The extra charge does not make absorbing unnecessary attacks a safe plan.
Gears7 options
DAMAGEDetails
Increases damage while the Brawler is below half health. The extra pressure is conditional, not a reason to remain in a losing exchange.
GADGET COOLDOWNDetails
Reduces the wait between Gadget uses. Choose it when repeated access to the selected Gadget meaningfully supports the fight.
HEALTHDetails
Improves health recovery. Leave enough room for natural recovery to begin instead of expecting the Gear to erase damage during continued attacks.
SHIELDDetails
Adds a consumable shield that recovers while the Brawler is at full health. Preserve recovery time between fights to restore the extra protection.
SPEEDDetails
Increases movement speed in bushes. Its value depends on having useful bush routes rather than simply equipping it on an open map.
SUPER CHARGEDetails
Increases the rate of Super charging. Use the earlier Super opportunity deliberately rather than treating it as an automatic advantage.
VISIONDetails
Briefly reveals hidden opponents after you damage them. It helps track targets entering bushes, but does not reveal invisibility granted by abilities.
Jacky is a close-range fighter who makes the space around her dangerous. Groundbreaker strikes nearby enemies around her, while Holey Moley pulls opponents inward. Her aim is not to chase every retreating target: it is to reach a useful position and make opponents pay for entering it.
How to play: Move between protected positions instead of walking straight through a firing lane. Wait for an opponent to approach a contested route, or advance while a teammate draws their attention. Keep ammunition ready before pulling enemies in; gathering targets is much less useful if you cannot attack afterward. A defensive pull can also drag an attacker away from a vulnerable teammate.
Strengths: Jacky can threaten several opponents crowded around her without lining up a narrow projectile. Her Super creates an opening for allied follow-up damage, and her Star Powers offer a choice between punishing nearby attackers and reducing incoming damage. Rebuild gives her another way to influence a fight by restoring destroyed terrain.
Limitations: Her attacks are centered on herself, so enemies who maintain their distance can deny her opportunities. A speed boost does not make an exposed approach safe. Pulling several opponents toward you can also backfire when they have ammunition ready and your team cannot help.
Practical tips: Before committing, identify where you will stand after the pull, not just which enemy you want to catch. Use Pneumatic Booster to cross the final gap or retreat from a losing exchange rather than spending it far from the fight. With Rebuild, check which routes your team needs to keep open before restoring terrain.
