Overview and role
Soleil is an Honor Support whose value depends on formation and enemy control use. His frontmost ally receives Halo, allies ahead of him can receive Blessing, and the nearest or central enemy is selected by different offensive skills. He redistributes defenses and punishes enemy abilities rather than acting as a generic burn damage dealer. A community synergy paragraph mentions burning, but the four reviewed cards do not support that description.
Reading the battle cycle
Check who is in front of Soleil at each important cast. The hero receiving Halo may not be the same one who most needs the later offensive buff after displacement. Curse of the Ancient God temporarily moves defensive stats from the nearest opponent to allies, while Mark punishes the central opponent's activity. Blessing becomes more valuable as enemies use control, so its contribution can change as a fight develops.
Partners and interactions
A front-line physical attacker such as Qing Mao can be a sensible test partner for Halo and Blessing, provided the actual formation makes that attacker eligible. Magic damage and healing ahead of Soleil can also benefit. The publisher separately suggests Miu and Soleil in magic-oriented teams. These are positioning and stat interactions, not evidence for the unsupported claim that Soleil and Qing Mao stack two base-skill burns.
Limits and opposing pressure
Halo protects one frontmost ally against specifically listed controls, not the whole team against every disable. Its damage reduction has an enhanced condition when an attack completely penetrates Armor. Enemies with little control use give Blessing fewer additional increments, and a marked enemy prevented from acting offers fewer Mark triggers. Watch both ally positioning and which enemy receives the mark before describing the team as a counter.
Development decisions
Magic Attack supports his defense theft, reductions, punishments and ally amplification. That wide scaling is useful only if Soleil remains alive and relevant recipients remain in front of him. Health and defenses can preserve support uptime, while Magic Penetration concerns his own magic damage rather than the size of every defensive effect. Compare survival and recipient coverage before adopting a purely offensive spending plan.
Artifacts
Prison of the Ancient God supplies team Magic Attack. Tome of Arcane Knowledge provides Magic Attack and Health, and Ring of Intelligence develops his main stat. This supports both his formulas and magic-oriented allies. The artifact does not automatically rearrange the formation or extend Blessing behind him, so a larger buff cannot solve an ineligible recipient problem.
Glyphs and skins
The reviewed glyphs are Magic Attack, Health, Intelligence, Magic Penetration and Magic Defense. Skin examples include Demonic+ for Magic Attack, Celestial for Health, Solar for Magic Penetration and Sport for Magic Reflection, alongside Default Intelligence. Magic Reflection is not Halo's control rebound and should not be described as the same effect. Check actual acquisition routes and owned upgrades instead of assuming a historical event remains available.
Talismans
The Ancient God has Intelligence in its first slot, with Armor as the other stat confirmed by the publisher's release notice. Scholar has Magic Reflection first and is paired with Health rolls in the secondary catalogue. This changes defense and utility as well as the main stat. At hero level 120, compare owned rolls and incoming damage types; reflection-based investment is not a substitute for surviving unreflectable damage over time.
Class and additional progression
Support class progression may add defense reduction through its own damage-or-buff trigger. It is separate from the temporary theft of Curse of the Ancient God and from Halo's control rebound. No Soleil-specific Relic enhancement was certified. Keep Realm effects and later enhancements outside the four base cards, and do not add a healing or burning ability just because a broad community introduction suggests one.
