Overview and role
Satori is a Mystery Mage who builds Fox Fire marks and converts them into a later magic burst. His ordinary attacks are part of that mark economy, and bonus enemy energy can accelerate it through Looming Justice. He also steals Intelligence when he successfully deals damage. His value depends on reaching a useful detonation window, not only on a single maximum-build damage number.
Reading the battle cycle
Watch the marks on actual targets before the ultimate, and distinguish regular energy generation from the bonus energy that Looming Justice recognizes. Spirit Banishment spreads marks, while successful damage changes Intelligence over the course of the fight. The resulting damage can therefore differ between early and late casts. In manual modes, consider the survival risk of waiting for more marks rather than assuming delay is always beneficial.
Partners and interactions
Mystery allies increase the marks applied by Spirit Banishment. The publisher identifies Cascade as a partner for Satori through damage support and team Magic Penetration, and separately suggests testing Miu with him. Those options address offense; protection and healing may still be needed to reach the detonation. Do not infer that a five-Mystery lineup is mandatory or that every energy gain by the opponent is a valid punishment trigger.
Limits and opposing pressure
Control, energy interference or an early death can prevent a profitable ultimate. Mark removal can reduce the stored burst, and the lack of enemy bonus-energy mechanics can reduce the special value of Looming Justice. Magic-focused damage also needs a plan against relevant shields and conditional resurrection. Rufus is not universally immune, but his barrier and Oath show why Satori alone may not reliably finish every surviving tank.
Development decisions
Magic Attack and Magic Penetration support the damage plan, while Health and defenses can buy time for another mark cycle. Intelligence is also a combat-changing stat because Centurial Wisdom steals it; distinguish the starting build from the temporary state later in battle. Compare whether additional offense actually enables a kill or merely leaves Satori too fragile to activate. The three-hundred-percent basic-attack recovery is conditional on successful damage, not permanent immunity.
Artifacts
Fan of the Black Fox grants team Magic Attack. Manuscript of the Void supplies Magic Penetration and Magic Attack, and Ring of Intelligence builds his primary stat. These fit a magic-damage lineup but have different costs and effects. A weapon-triggered attack increase during an ultimate is not the same as permanently changing the values shown by an external maximum-build calculator.
Glyphs and skins
The listed glyphs are Magic Penetration, Magic Attack, Health, Intelligence and Armor. Catalogue examples include Beach for Magic Penetration, Dark Depths for Magic Attack, Cybernetic for Armor, Celestial for Magic Defense and Masquerade+ for magical critical-hit chance. These choices can alter both survival and damage variance. The plus version requires separate attention, and none of these catalogue entries proves a current offer or recommended purchase.
Talismans
Cunning has Intelligence in its first slot and is paired with Magic Penetration rolls in the secondary catalogue. Prudence starts with Armor and is paired with Health rolls. This presents an offensive route and a durability route for a hero whose burst arrives after setup. Compare them with the actual team protection and owned rolls. Access begins at hero level 120; talisman level and hero level are different systems.
Relic and additional progression
The official Relic infographic keeps extra effects behind explicit levels: level 1 adds Searing Claws every 17 seconds, damaging marked enemies without consuming marks, or placing six marks on each enemy if none are marked; level 10 adds self-cleansing and negative-effect immunity during Ravenous Pack; level 20 adds one Spirit Banishment mark; level 30 reduces damage to Satori from enemies with at least four marks. These are not baseline abilities. Mage class energy and Realm skills remain separate too.
