Oya at a glance
Oya is a Nature Warrior who pressures shielded enemies, pulls a low-Health target forward and supports critical-hit recovery. Her team value combines damage with conditions that enable allies to keep attacking. She is not merely a shield-removal button: reaching the target, landing the relevant events and surviving the exchange still matter.
Follow the prey and shield state
Check which enemy has the lowest Health when Hunting chooses its prey and where that opponent ends up. Shieldbreaker can then threaten the close target and marked opponents, while Overwhelming has its own shielded rear-target condition. A different Health distribution or a shield ending before impact can produce a different result from the same lineup.
Nature recovery and critical allies
The publisher names Oya with Mojo, Alvanor or Maya and separately with Yasmine, who relies on critical hits. The mechanical link is conditional recovery and critical support, with enhanced Nature bonuses. Test whether the ally actually qualifies for the healing condition and successfully attacks; shared faction alone does not create a continuous critical-heal loop.
What limits the anti-shield plan
Extra damage against shields does not guarantee every protected enemy dies. Control can interrupt her sequence, and prey selection may not identify the opponent you wanted to expose. An enemy without a useful shield target can reduce the value of her specialization. Distinguish a failed pull, an interrupted attack and insufficient damage instead of labelling the entire matchup a universal counter.
Develop both pressure and the recovery engine
Physical Attack appears throughout her offensive and critical-rating expressions. Health also enters the reported allied-healing formula, giving durability investment a support role. If Oya is removed early, damage-only spending may not create the required attack opportunities. If she survives but cannot finish prey, assess physical mitigation and team penetration rather than assuming every problem calls for more Health.
Artifacts and critical support
Ancestor's Sword gives team Critical Hit Chance. Warrior's Code develops personal Critical Hit Chance and Physical Attack, while Ring of Strength supports her main attribute. The weapon can help suitable attackers during its window; the book contributes directly to her offense. Choose according to whether team critical reliability or Oya's own performance is limiting the lineup.
Glyphs and skins
The documented glyphs are Health, Strength, Physical Attack, Magic Defense and Critical Hit Chance. Skin examples include Mythical and Tribal for Physical Attack, Solar for Health, Winter for Armor and Stellar for Armor Penetration. Different variants can differ in bonuses. This is a non-exhaustive stat map, not an instruction to purchase every item or a guarantee of present shop availability.
Talismans and physical pressure
The official reference lists Prophecy with Strength and Warrioress with Physical Attack. Community slot entries associate Prophecy with Critical Hit Chance and Warrioress with Crushing. Compare their full contribution to survival, critical events and damage under the actual matchup. A higher displayed Physical Attack alone does not establish that the team will trigger more recovery.
Warrior class and Relic boundaries
Warrior-class attack growth is a separate effect from Hunting's critical bonus and Brutal Onslaught's healing. The publisher currently lists a guide to Oya's Relic, so enhanced behavior must be checked separately rather than silently folded into these base cards. Several community example totals disagree with their own formulas; the profile keeps the symbolic reports qualified and does not manufacture a universal maximum build.
