Octavia at a glance
Octavia is an Eternity Support who turns successful dodges into retaliation, energy and offensive opportunities. Her protection from direct targeting depends on original teammates surviving. A dodge-focused team benefits from events actually occurring, not merely from displaying a large Dodge rating. The mirror and penetration windows reward that activity rather than guaranteeing it.
Read the dodge sequence
Watch whether the preferred front ally receives the intended Dodge buff, whether a dodge happens while the mirror is active, and whether the resulting penetration window aligns with physical attacks. These events can support one another without being perfectly synchronized. When a teammate dies or movement changes formation, the next recipient and the fight pattern may change.
Dante, Iris and skeleton interactions
The publisher identifies Dante for a dodge combination, Iris for benefits from buffed allies and Morrigan for skeleton interactions. Those are different reasons to pair them. A physical carry can use Armor Penetration directly, while a magical ally may value other buffs or energy. Do not assume every skeleton becomes the preferred target of a skill restricted to original teammates.
Direct-target protection is not invulnerability
Octavia can still be affected by area pressure and by mechanics that do not depend on selecting her as a direct target. The publisher's Damage over Time trait cannot be dodged or reflected, so a dodge plan should not assume it handles all poison and burn. Losing the starting team also removes the condition underpinning her direct-target protection.
Choose which part of the loop needs help
Health scales the reported mirror damage cap, while Physical Attack scales the Dodge and Armor Penetration bonuses. Defense and sufficient starting-team survival can preserve more opportunities for all of them. If no dodges are occurring, a higher mirror cap alone may not help; if allies survive but physical damage stalls, inspect penetration and the opposing defenses.
Artifacts and shared Dodge
Mirror of Truth provides a team Dodge bonus. Book of Illusions gives personal Dodge and Health, while Ring of Agility develops her primary attribute. The weapon can reinforce the team's evasive window; the book has direct relevance to her own survival and Health-based mirror cap. A listed maximum activation chance is not the chance of an unfinished artifact.
Glyphs and skins
The documented glyphs are Health, Dodge, Physical Attack, Agility and Magic Defense. Examples include Cybernetic for Physical Attack, Romantic and Oblivion for Health, Winter for Dodge and Angel for Magic Defense. Compare the stat with the missing part of the dodge loop rather than adopting a universal skin order. Catalogue presence does not certify current acquisition options.
Talismans and damage-cap tradeoffs
Madness is officially listed with Agility and Loneliness with Toughness. Community entries associate Madness with Health slots and Loneliness with Physical Attack slots. That creates a meaningful comparison between Health-related mirror potential, support scaling and resilience. Assess the actual rolls and opposing damage instead of treating the later talisman as an unconditional upgrade.
Additional effects and test discipline
Support-class defense reduction can accompany Octavia's buffs, but it is not the Armor Penetration granted by Moment of Concentration. Record any Relic changes and class level when comparing teams. The reviewed base tooltip leaves the exact “Guard” energy-recipient definition unresolved; this profile does not replace that uncertainty with an invented promise that every dodge energizes the whole team.
