Maya at a glance
Maya is a Nature Healer whose flower links personal protection to sustained team recovery. Her poison also applies pressure away from the front target. The publisher now lists her in Nature, even though some community tables still say Mystery. Treat her as a healer with a damage-over-time contribution, not as an instant replacement for every burst healer.
Follow the flower cycle
Watch when the flower first appears, how long it survives and whether allies remain alive until its recovery matters. A destroyed flower can create a root-and-poison response, but losing team healing may still be costly. In manual modes, evaluate the immediate survival need before delaying the first skill solely to chase a favorable damage window.
Nature partners and positioning
The publisher specifically connects Maya with Oya and describes healing-based Nature combinations around Mojo, Alvanor and Mushy & Shroom. These are interactions to test: extra recovery may help a wounded summon activate or an ally reach Mojo's full-heal condition. Check that the team still has enough protection before the first flower, rather than assuming shared faction solves the opening.
What can interrupt the plan
Early burst can defeat an ally before sustained recovery catches up. Poison being unable to miss or be dodged does not make it unblockable: the updated Nebula skill explicitly blocks incoming Damage over Time. A root is also not a general action lock. Separate problems caused by healing prevention, flower destruction and enemy control when reviewing a loss.
Invest for the job that is failing
Magic Attack is relevant to flower recovery, flower Health and the reported poison formulas. Maya's own survival remains a different question from flower durability. If she dies before establishing the flower, extra poison scaling may not address the problem; if she survives but the team cannot finish, examine the damage plan instead of automatically buying more defensive stats.
Artifacts and defensive timing
Mother Tree's Branch supplies team Magic Defense; Tome of Arcane Knowledge gives personal Magic Attack and Health, and Ring of Intelligence develops her primary attribute. The weapon can support a vulnerable magic-damage window, while the book improves both recovery scaling and durability. Its team bonus is an activation window, not a permanent property of every flower tick.
Glyphs and skin stat choices
Her documented glyph set is Magic Attack, Intelligence, Armor, Magic Defense and Health. Catalogue examples include Champion and Winter for Magic Attack, Romantic for Health, Devil for Magic Defense and Default for Intelligence. Match the stat to the observed failure. A catalogue is not a promise of current purchase access; changing the visible outfit does not turn the other owned bonuses off.
Talismans: output or physical resilience
The publisher lists Blooming with Intelligence and Spring with Armor. The former is a natural route into her primary-stat scaling; the latter addresses physical pressure on Maya herself. Neither choice removes the need to inspect additional-slot rolls and the actual opponent. A talisman requires hero level 120, which is separate from the level of her blue or violet skill.
Rework, Relic and class boundaries
The official Maya guide announces updated skills and a Relic for November 3 without printing a year. A dated community rework article places that announcement in historical context, so it is not presented as a new 2026 launch. Healer-class damage conversion and Relic-triggered flower effects are additional systems; the four cards below describe the base kit and flag unresolved rounded poison values.
