Martha at a glance
Martha is a Mystery Healer whose team recovery depends on a healing totem, while her ultimate accelerates allies. Her own basic-attack projectile supplies distance-dependent self-healing. These are distinct systems: self-sustain does not prove the team is receiving healing, and a large end-of-fight total can conceal a dangerous opening before the totem contributes.
Read the totem window
Watch when Tea Party is cast, how long the totem survives and whether allies die in the gaps. A destroyed totem removes the platform that Healing Brew needs. Also inspect where Martha is standing: forced movement can shorten projectile travel and expose her to different threats. The speed ultimate is not a replacement for an absent totem or an immediate emergency heal.
Partners and interactions
Damage dealers that need time to work can benefit from sustained recovery and faster actions. Lars and Krista are one example of a multi-skill cycle that can use this breathing room; Lilith’s Health-spending team is another context to test. Choose the partner according to the fight’s opening and damage pattern, not because a historical Hydra lineup was labeled universally best.
Vulnerabilities of a shared healing source
The totem cannot be selected as an ordinary target, but area damage can destroy it. Back-line access, displacement and healing denial can therefore interfere with her contribution in different ways. If Martha survives while allies die, determine whether the problem is cast timing, totem survival or reduced healing before assuming she simply needs more defensive stats.
Investment reasoning
Her self-heal and the reviewed Healing Brew expression depend on Health, while Tea Party depends on Magic Attack. Health and defense also affect survival and can change battle timing, so there is no universal “keep Martha weak” or “maximize every stat first” rule. Compare the actual mode and opponent. The inconsistent published Healing Brew numbers are not suitable for a precise upgrade-return calculation.
Artifacts
Zarakkari Teapot supplies team Armor. Tome of Arcane Knowledge develops Magic Attack and Health, and Ring of Intelligence develops Intelligence. The book touches both relevant healing inputs, while the weapon helps during a temporary defensive window. The teapot artifact and Tea Party’s battlefield totem are related in theme but are not the same mechanic or the same upgrade control.
Glyphs and skins
Her reviewed glyphs are Health, Magic Attack, Armor, Intelligence and Magic Defense. Alliance skin examples are Masquerade for Health, Winter and Celestial+ for Magic Attack, Solar for Magic Defense and Default for Intelligence. These bonuses differ from some Dominion Era catalogues. Match the stat to the recovery or survival problem and verify acquisition separately; the visible outfit does not select which owned bonuses apply.
Talismans
The publisher lists Longevity with Intelligence and Tea-Time with Magic Attack. Community slot listings give Health to Longevity and Armor to Tea-Time. One route develops her Health-related recovery and reserve, while the other combines a direct Tea Party input with physical defense. Actual rolls and enemy damage type matter; neither is a blanket recommendation for every Hydra or PvP team.
Extra healing is not another base card
Healer class progression can add a separate protective healing effect after an ally is healed. Do not count it as extra Tea Party ticks or silently include it in Healing Brew’s formula. Record class level when comparing healing reports. Realm skills and Dominion Era Ascension effects remain outside this Alliance base-kit profile.
