Krista at a glance
Krista is a Chaos Support whose control and magic-defense reduction prepare enemies for allied follow-up. She applies Water marks, creates a movement-sensitive ice field and protects herself against large incoming hits. Her strongest distinctive interaction is with Lars: he can move enemies through her hazard and exploit the same Water marks. Calling her Support does not mean her kit is a team healing kit.
Read the field before the storm
The useful question is whether enemies move through Frozen Needles while the field exists. A visually large ice field against a stationary formation does not guarantee repeated damage. In a mode with manual ultimates, watch whether Lars’s pull overlaps the hazard. In automatic battles, assess the real timing rather than assuming a carefully timed demonstration will reproduce itself.
Twins and the remaining slots
Lars is a mechanically direct partner because his hurricane supplies movement and his attacks benefit from Water marks. Martha can supply healing and speed, leaving Krista free to perform setup rather than being mistaken for a healer. With two slots already committed to the Twins, decide what the remaining lineup needs: opening protection, recovery or a way to survive the opponent’s control.
Limits of her defensive shell
Crystallization reduces damage for a short reactive window; it is not permanent invulnerability. Small repeated hits and damage arriving outside that window need separate examination. Effects that prevent displacement reduce the intended movement interaction, and failed mark or debuff applications weaken the follow-up plan. Inspect those events before concluding that simply increasing Magic Attack will solve a matchup.
Investment reasoning
Magic Attack supports her damage and magic-defense reduction, while survivability gives her time to place the field and apply marks. Health also changes the absolute size of a hit that meets the percentage-based Crystallization trigger. That means a stat upgrade can alter timing as well as durability. Evaluate her with the actual Lars build and opponent rather than buying a rigid sequence of upgrades.
Artifacts
Permafrost Flail grants team Magic Attack. Tome of Arcane Knowledge develops Magic Attack and Health, and Ring of Intelligence develops Intelligence. Her weapon can support a magic-oriented lineup even when her own damage is not the largest number in the report. The first-skill weapon bonus is temporary; book and ring development should not be confused with another active team effect.
Glyphs and skins
Her documented glyphs cover Intelligence, Armor, Magic Defense, Magic Attack and Health. Skin examples include Masquerade for Magic Attack, Cybernetic for Health, Devil for Armor and Angel+ for Magic Penetration. Choose the failure you want to address: staying alive for setup and increasing damage are related but not identical. Catalogue entries are not a promise of current purchase availability.
Talismans
The publisher lists Hurricanes with Intelligence and Ice with Health. The reviewed community catalogue pairs their additional slots with Magic Attack and Magic Penetration respectively. Hurricanes supports her stat-scaled setup, while Ice combines a larger Health pool with penetration development. Compare real slot rolls and the Crystallization threshold in your build; neither name establishes an automatic winner.
Progression beyond the four cards
Krista’s Support class can add defense reduction separately from Chains of Frost. Attribute extra weakening correctly when comparing an older recording with a developed account. Hero level, colored-rank skill unlocks and individual skill levels are different controls. Talismans require hero level 120; the blue and violet base skills still have their own lower caps. Realm skills are not substitutes for these combat cards.
