Hero Wars: Alliance

K'arkh

Warrior

Overview

Description

Overview and role
K'arkh is an Eternity Warrior built around attacks on airborne enemies. His lift, physical block chance and healing from aerial attacks form a burst-and-recovery pattern. The important unit of value is a successful knock-up followed by a useful strike, not simply an ultimate animation. He needs to remain alive for Deadly Tendrils to contribute, and enemies that cannot be lifted can deny a large part of the plan.

Reading the battle cycle
Watch the complete sequence: which low-Health enemies Nexus of Horror selects, whether they actually leave the ground, whether K'arkh is alive to strike, and whether the resulting damage restores enough Health. If the aerial event fails, more damage investment may not address the cause. His defensive rift is probabilistic, so a favorable sequence of blocks in one replay does not establish reliable tanking. Compare several relevant battles before treating him as a replacement for a protective frontline.

Partners and interactions
The official combinations guide explains Faceless copying K'arkh's ultimate to create more airborne targets. Kai is another mechanically relevant lift partner, provided the opponent can be displaced. The shared opportunity is the knock-up, not a requirement that every teammate belong to Eternity. Reserve room for enough protection and recovery to get the combo started. Adding more lift sources is not automatically better if it leaves the carry unable to survive the first enemy sequence.

Weaknesses and exceptions
Andvari's Living Earth protects allies behind him from displacement, and Celeste's Purifying Sphere can also prevent a lift; both interactions are publisher documented. Satori can punish the bonus Energy from blocks. Hydra is immune to being thrown into the air, so an aerial damage plan should not be transferred to that mode merely because a community page lists a Hydra team. The physical-block skill also does not establish blanket protection from magic or pure damage.

Development decisions
Physical Attack supports the aerial strike, and Armor Penetration helps physical damage reach an armored target. Neither stat can force a knock-up through displacement protection. First establish that the intended combo actually occurs, then determine whether the limiting factor is damage, survival or the availability of another lift. A failed opener and a successful combo that leaves enemies alive call for different upgrades. No exact minimum-stat threshold or guarantee against a named defense is provided.

Artifacts

K'arkh's Essence supplies a Physical Attack weapon buff; Alchemist's Folio adds Armor Penetration and Physical Attack; Ring of Agility provides Agility. The book supports his personal physical pressure continuously, whereas the weapon adds a timed team opportunity around the ultimate. That difference matters when judging a copied-lift team whose attack timing may not align identically on every run. Do not treat artifact evolution's activation chance as the same variable as skill-level reliability.

Glyphs and skins

His documented glyphs are Armor Penetration, Agility, Physical Attack, Armor and Health. Stellar and Masquerade are Armor Penetration skin options, Celestial provides Physical Attack, and Winter+ provides Health. Those names describe available stat paths in the reviewed catalogue, not verified current offers. Choose between offensive reach and surviving the opening based on observed battles. A high-Power screenshot with every upgrade is not a recommended starting build.

Talismans

The publisher lists Denial with Agility and Augury with Physical Attack, both usable at hero level 120. Compare secondary rolls and the full equipped result, not only the primary slot. For an aerial carry, ask whether a talisman changes the number of successful combos or the outcome of each combo. If displacement protection prevents the trigger entirely, switching offensive talismans is unlikely to solve that mechanism by itself.

Class progression, Relics and Realm
Warrior class progression adds a basic-attack-driven Physical Attack buff separately from Deadly Tendrils and Survival Factor. Do not label class healing, if inferred from higher damage, as an extra base skill. No K'arkh-specific Relic text was verified in this review; this is a gap, not proof of permanent absence. Pets, Ascension and other Dominion Era progression do not belong in an Alliance build, and Realm skills must stay in their own troop-combat context.

Skill 1

Nexus of Horror

White · Low-Health-target knock-up ultimate

Nexus of Horror lifts the three enemies with the least remaining Health and can stun them when they land. The ultimate sets up the airborne event; Deadly Tendrils explains the separate follow-up attack.

Numbers and limits: the secondary maximum-skill snapshot specifies three targets and a 2-second landing stun, with reduced stun chance above target level 120. The current source does not resolve whether every selection tie uses absolute or proportional Health, so no tie-breaking algorithm is asserted. Displacement protection can prevent the lift even when the ultimate activates.

Practical reading: examine the selected targets and whether they are actually airborne rather than judging success from the cast alone.

Numeric context: A means this hero's Magic Attack, P means Physical Attack and H means maximum Health where used. Unless a card explicitly defines a skill-level formula, numerical expressions are the secondary source's maximum-skill snapshot only. This card's base skill cap is 120, distinct from hero level, rank and combat stats. Cooldowns are documented baselines, not guaranteed cast times under speed or control effects. Skill 2

Negator of Laws

Green · Automatic probabilistic physical block

Negator of Laws opens a temporary rift that can block physical attacks and supplies bonus Energy for successful blocks. It is not described as a damage-capacity shield and does not guarantee every incoming attack is stopped.

Numbers and limits: the reviewed Alliance maximum-skill snapshot reports an 8-second rift, 50% physical block chance, 15% extra Energy per blocked attack and an 18-second baseline cooldown. It does not provide a verified arbitrary-level progression or promise protection against magic and pure damage.

Practical reading: a sequence of successful blocks can accelerate the aerial combo, but probability makes a single favorable replay an unreliable survival guarantee. Bonus Energy can also create a matchup risk against Satori.

Numeric context: A means this hero's Magic Attack, P means Physical Attack and H means maximum Health where used. Unless a card explicitly defines a skill-level formula, numerical expressions are the secondary source's maximum-skill snapshot only. Skill 3

Deadly Tendrils

Blue · Passive aerial physical follow-up

Deadly Tendrils strikes enemies who are thrown into the air while K'arkh remains alive. It can therefore benefit from an ally's lift, not just Nexus of Horror. The follow-up is physical damage rather than the lifting effect itself.

Numbers and limits: the secondary page reports a base strike equal to P and doubled damage against targets at or below level 120 at its maximum-skill snapshot, with reduced double-damage reliability above that level. Its printed damage example 85,704 conflicts with its current P=97,223 table; the absolute example is not retained as a build result. The lower-level threshold formula was not verified.

Practical reading: a protected or unliftable enemy removes the opportunity on which this attack depends. More allied lifts only help when that condition can be met.

Numeric context: A means this hero's Magic Attack, P means Physical Attack and H means maximum Health where used. Unless a card explicitly defines a skill-level formula, numerical expressions are the secondary source's maximum-skill snapshot only. This card's base skill cap is 100, distinct from hero level, rank and combat stats. Cooldowns are documented baselines, not guaranteed cast times under speed or control effects. Skill 4

Survival Factor

Violet · Conditional aerial-damage recovery

Survival Factor converts a fraction of damage from attacks against airborne enemies into recovery for K'arkh. Its scope is the aerial attack condition, not blanket healing from every damage source in his kit.

Numbers and limits: the secondary Alliance maximum-skill snapshot reports Health recovery equal to 25% of damage dealt. This is a recovery ratio, not a 25% chance, and the current-client interaction with every anti-heal or absorption effect was not tested. No flat heal amount or skill-level table is manufactured.

Practical reading: successful, damaging aerial attacks can help him continue fighting; a prevented lift or an ineffective strike also weakens the recovery plan. This is not a resurrection or protection against a lethal hit before he attacks.

Numeric context: A means this hero's Magic Attack, P means Physical Attack and H means maximum Health where used. Unless a card explicitly defines a skill-level formula, numerical expressions are the secondary source's maximum-skill snapshot only. This card's base skill cap is 80, distinct from hero level, rank and combat stats. Cooldowns are documented baselines, not guaranteed cast times under speed or control effects.
