Overview and role
Ginger is an Agility Marksman from Progress whose main distinction is repeated teamwide physical pressure. Lead Storm spreads a volley over time, while her basic attacks build a capped faction attack bonus. She is not simply a burst button: staying active through ordinary attacks and finishing the volley are part of the damage plan. A short fight can end before that plan matures.
Reading the battle cycle
Count completed basic attacks and completed ultimate shots separately. Ranging Shot grows through ordinary attacks; Lead Storm's seven shots are not described as seven ramp-building basic attacks. If the volley is repeatedly interrupted, compare protection or control timing before spending for a larger theoretical full cast. In manual modes, launch it when the team can exploit the window rather than just when Energy fills.
Partners and interactions
Isaac can give a rearward Progress attacker offensive drone benefits, while Julius and Judge are shield partners commonly tested in Progress formations. Ginger's own ramp supplies a further reason to keep eligible physical allies active. These interactions do not make every shield lineup safe against Toxins or pure damage. Keep enough actual enemy damage in the lineup and test the complete five, not the faction label.
Limits and opposing pressure
Lead Storm delivers its pressure sequentially, leaving room for disruption before all shots land. Broad damage can also leave several enemies alive rather than removing the decisive threat. Ranging Shot has a fixed cap, so it does not promise endless scaling in a long fight. Movement slowdown on Penetrating Shot is not a four-second stun or a guaranteed shutdown of enemy skills.
Development decisions
Physical Attack affects the volley and the faction bonus, but Armor Penetration determines how much physical damage reaches armored targets. First identify whether Ginger fails because she dies, cannot finish firing, or simply cannot overcome resistance. Her starting stats matter to Ranging Shot's cap; an in-fight attack buff should not be assumed to recalculate that cap upward.
Artifacts
Noble Mk.2 supplies Physical Attack to the team. Alchemist's Folio adds Armor Penetration and Physical Attack, and Ring of Agility adds Agility. The weapon may matter beyond Ginger's personal damage in a Progress physical lineup. Its temporary activation and the book's persistent stats serve different needs, so a claim that the weapon is universally worthless is too broad.
Glyphs and skins
Her glyphs cover Armor Penetration, Physical Attack, Agility, Health and Magic Defense. Spring supplies penetration; Devil and Champion supply Physical Attack; Stellar+ supplies Health; Solar supplies Magic Defense; Default supplies Agility. Owned bonuses do not depend on the visible costume. The list is a dated catalogue and does not imply current availability, a mandatory purchase, or that Skin+ and its base bonus should be double-counted.
Talismans
The publisher lists Firearm with Agility and Artillery with Crushing. The reviewed secondary slots are Armor Penetration for Firearm and Critical Hit Chance for Artillery. Comparing only the headline stat misses that trade-off. At hero level 120, evaluate the whole talisman against the opponent: more finishing pressure is different from reliably damaging a healthy high-Armor front line.
Reworks and separate progression
The current Alliance Ranging Shot boosts Progress teammates; older descriptions of repeatedly attacking one enemy should not replace it. Marksman class damage against injured targets is another system, not a hidden eighth Lead Storm shot. No Ginger-specific Relic alteration was verified in this review. World Map Realm skills are excluded from the base hero card set.
