For standard power-ups, choose the combo whose coverage reaches your remaining targets. Use Rockets or TNT for predictable coverage; Propeller destinations are random.

Match the shape to the problem

  • Rocket + Rocket clears a cross: one row and one column through its tile.
  • Rocket + TNT clears three rows and three columns through its tile. Choose it for a wider cross.
  • TNT + TNT clears within a four-tile radius. Choose it for a concentrated area rather than a distant line.

Example: targets share a row and a column through your combo. Two Rockets fit that layout. If targets instead occupy adjacent rows and columns, Rocket + TNT offers wider coverage.

When to choose a Light Ball or Propeller

  • Light Ball + Rocket, TNT or Propeller transforms the most common colored items into that power-up.
  • Two Light Balls clear all items and remove one layer from each game elementβ€”not every layer of a multilayer obstacle.
  • Two Propellers produce three Propellers targeting random elements. Propeller + Rocket or TNT carries that power-up to a random tile. These combinations also clear neighboring tiles on takeoff.
