Travel Town turns pairs of matching objects into increasingly useful items. Those items help fulfil requests from townspeople, connecting the puzzle board to the recovery of a seaside settlement after a storm. Completing one chain often gives you a new object to work towards next.

Coins and completed tasks feed into restoring and improving buildings around town. Meeting residents supplies the human side of that progress, while discovering additional objects keeps the board from being only a repetition of the first few combinations. The town acts as a visible record of what your merging has achieved.
