The Darkside Detective

The Darkside Detective follows Francis McQueen and his partner Patrick Dooley as they investigate supernatural disturbances around Twin Lakes. Each case sends the pair through pixel-art locations where you inspect objects, question unusual characters, and work out how clues and inventory items fit together. The emphasis is on observation, puzzle solving, and comic dialogue rather than action. Its complete first season contains nine compact investigations, including a Christmas case, making the mysteries easy to approach separately. Ghosts, cultists, and other strange encounters provide the setting, while the detectives’ conversations turn potentially frightening situations into a deliberately silly adventure.
