Sorcery!

Sorcery! begins the journey across the Shamutanti Hills with a hand-drawn map that doubles as a branching route through the story. Choosing a village, cave or mountain path changes the encounters, supplies and information available later. Sword fights replace dice rolls with a contest of attack strength: committing heavily can overpower an enemy, but leaves less power for the next exchange, while defending helps you recover. Spellcasting offers stranger solutions to obstacles, provided you understand what a spell does and can meet its requirements. Conversations, bargains and apparently minor acts are remembered, and a completed adventure can carry its consequences into Sorcery! 2.
