SaGa Frontier Remastered offers eight protagonists with distinct goals and storylines, letting you choose how to explore its connected worlds through the Free Scenario system. Recruit allies, develop their abilities, and enter turn-based battles where the Glimmer system can reveal new techniques during combat. Coordinating attacks lets party members combine their efforts against stronger opponents. The remaster adds Fuse as a playable lead after meeting the required conditions, alongside restored scenes that expand Asellus's story. Updated menus, sharper graphics, and a double-speed option make repeated journeys easier to manage. Each protagonist provides another perspective on the setting rather than simply repeating an identical campaign.
