RainCity

RainCity follows a cat reporter searching a perpetually rainy city for his missing fox sister. The investigation takes you through streets populated by animal residents, a mushroom field, hidden passages, and a laboratory. Conversations supply information, while collected objects, environmental puzzles, and small minigames open the way forward. Challenges call on observation and memory as the search gradually connects the sister’s disappearance to the city’s unending rainfall. Picture-book-style artwork gives the urban setting a gentle appearance despite its strange events. Progress comes from exploring locations and working out how their clues and objects fit the investigation, rather than fighting enemies.
