No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky turns your iPhone or iPad into a window onto a vast, procedurally generated galaxy. This is the mobile edition of Hello Games’ space exploration and survival sandbox, released on October 28, 2026. You can leave a planet’s surface, head into orbit and set a course for another world, building your own journey around discovery, trading, combat or construction.

On the ground, collecting resources and improving your equipment helps you survive hostile environments and push farther into unfamiliar territory. Build bases, upgrade your ship, trade valuable cargo or hunt pirates. The appeal is choosing what to pursue next: a useful material, an unusual creature, a better spacecraft or another unexplored system.

The mobile release includes more than forty major updates, with Forsaken available from launch. Its additions send you into abandoned freighters, infested outposts and wrecked space hulks to collect strange mementos. Trade these finds for biomechanical corvette parts, take on interplanetary delivery jobs, or travel directly toward nearby stars without opening the galaxy map.

Controls have been redesigned for touch, with controller support and mouse-and-keyboard support on iPad. There are important limits: multiplayer is not supported, and Hello Games specifies iPhone 15 Pro or newer for Planetary Settlements. Features and performance can differ across supported mobile devices.

The opening portion is free to try, while a one-time in-app purchase unlocks the full game. The US unlock price is $19.99; prices vary by region. It requires iOS or iPadOS 26 or later and approximately 4 GB of free storage, with a listed download of about 3.8 GB. Check the App Store compatibility details for your exact device and try the opening before buying, especially on older hardware. This mobile release is for iPhone and iPad, with no Android edition announced.
