Minecraft: Dream it, Build it!

Minecraft gives you a world made from blocks and leaves much of the purpose up to you. A first shelter can become a farm, a village or a much larger construction project. Exploring supplies new places and materials, while crafting turns resources into tools and other useful items.

Survival mode adds danger and the need to prepare, especially when night arrives. Creative mode supplies unlimited resources for players who would rather focus on designing something without gathering every block first. Those modes make the same world-building tools useful for quite different moods.

You can play alone or use multiplayer options to build with friends. The Android game is a paid purchase, with optional in-app content; hosted Realms services are separate subscriptions. It is best approached as a place for self-directed projects rather than a campaign that constantly assigns the next objective.
