Elderand

Elderand combines side-scrolling exploration with close-range combat in a ruined fantasy world. Fight through interconnected locations, gather equipment, and shape your character through statistics, skills, and weapon choices. Swords, whips, axes, bows, and magical weapons offer different ways to approach ordinary enemies and large bosses. Loot collected from defeated creatures or hidden routes supplies crafting upgrades, giving exploration a practical reward beyond discovering the map. The journey passes through forests, a prison, floating islands, and a cursed cathedral, with merchants providing occasional relief. Scattered letters reveal what happened to earlier travelers and help explain the corruption spreading through the land.
