Downwell

Downwell is a vertical action roguelike about descending through a monster-filled well using gunboots. Firing downward attacks enemies and briefly slows your fall, so shooting also controls movement. Collect gems, find weapon changes and choose upgrades between stages while deciding when to land safely and when to keep a risky chain going. Procedurally generated layouts make each run different, and a failed attempt sends you back to the start. This paid, offline game combines platforming, shooting and quick resource decisions; the Android link is the current rerelease.
