Basic attack1 options
Artwork unavailableHANDS OF STONEDetails

Throws a close-range flurry of punches. Cover and bushes can help Rosa approach, but she still needs to maintain contact long enough for the attack to matter.

Super1 options
Artwork unavailableSTRONG STUFFDetails

Temporarily reduces incoming damage with a protective layer of vines. Use it for a deliberate contested exchange or retreat; the protection is temporary and does not itself damage an opponent.

Gadgets2 options
GROW LIGHTDetails

Creates bushes around Rosa. Place them with a purpose, such as extending the greenery around a position your team wants to hold. With Plant Life equipped, the new bushes also give Rosa another place to benefit from its healing.

UNFRIENDLY BUSHESDetails

Damages and slows opponents hiding in bushes. Time it when an enemy is using greenery to approach, retreat or defend. Be ready to follow up with your team; the slow creates an opportunity but does not put a distant target within punching range.

Star Powers2 options
PLANT LIFEDetails

Heals Rosa while she is inside bushes, including those created by Grow Light. Use a useful patch as a place to recover and contest nearby space. Move out when the position becomes dangerous instead of treating the healing as permission to absorb every attack.

THORNY GLOVESDetails

Increases Rosa's punch damage while her Super is active. It rewards a shield window spent actually connecting attacks. Avoid activating the Super so early that much of the damage bonus expires while you are still approaching the target.

Hypercharge1 options
GRASPING ROOTSDetails

Slows nearby enemies while Rosa's Super is active. The slow helps her stay in range during the protected window, rather than giving her a long-range way to start every fight.

Artwork unavailableDamageDetails

Taking damage contributes to Super charge. The extra charge does not make absorbing unnecessary attacks a safe plan.

Gears6 options
DAMAGEDetails

Increases damage while the Brawler is below half health. The extra pressure is conditional, not a reason to remain in a losing exchange.

GADGET COOLDOWNDetails

Reduces the wait between Gadget uses. Choose it when repeated access to the selected Gadget meaningfully supports the fight.

HEALTHDetails

Improves health recovery. Leave enough room for natural recovery to begin instead of expecting the Gear to erase damage during continued attacks.

SHIELDDetails

Adds a consumable shield that recovers while the Brawler is at full health. Preserve recovery time between fights to restore the extra protection.

SPEEDDetails

Increases movement speed in bushes. Its value depends on having useful bush routes rather than simply equipping it on an open map.

VISIONDetails

Briefly reveals hidden opponents after you damage them. It helps track targets entering bushes, but does not reveal invisibility granted by abilities.

Overview

Description
Rosa is a close-range fighter who uses punches and a damage-reducing Super to contest space. Bushes are central to her options: Grow Light creates more greenery, Plant Life supplies healing inside it, and Unfriendly Bushes punishes opponents hiding in bushes.

How to play: Approach through cover and choose a fight you can reach without spending all your health. Use the Super when incoming damage is about to matter, rather than long before you enter punching range. Take a useful position for your team instead of following every retreating opponent.

Strengths: Holding a close position under pressure and making bush-covered approaches uncomfortable. Plant Life supports a more patient approach, while Thorny Gloves rewards landing punches during the Super. Your choice should reflect whether the next fight needs staying power or extra damage during the shield window.

Limitations: The shield reduces damage; it does not make Rosa invulnerable or bring a distant enemy into reach. Open approaches can leave her taking damage before she can answer. A patch of bushes is also not solid cover, so do not stand still in predictable enemy fire just to keep healing.

Practical tips: Before using Grow Light, identify the position you want to hold or the route you want to extend. With Unfriendly Bushes, look for a moment when your team can act on the slow. Save enough ammunition to attack during the Super, and plan where you will stand when its protection ends.
