Fires a burst of beams with a slight spread. Keep the firing lane clear long enough for the burst to connect; an opponent who ducks behind cover can avoid much of a shot that initially looked accurate.
Super1 options
Artwork unavailableDAMAGE BOOSTERDetails
Deploys a booster that increases the damage of friendly Brawlers in its area. Place it where teammates can benefit without being forced into an exposed cluster. Its positioning also matters for Cheat Cartridge and Plugged In.
Gadgets2 options
CHEAT CARTRIDGEDetails
Teleports 8-Bit to his Damage Booster. Place the booster with a possible return trip in mind, then check that the destination is safe before activating. Its Buffie upgrade also restores the booster to full health and heals 8-Bit.
EXTRA CREDITSDetails
Fires an aimable barrage that can be activated during a main attack. Line it up with an exposed target or a route the enemy must cross. Its Buffie upgrade lets these projectiles bounce to nearby enemies, adding pressure against clustered opponents.
Star Powers2 options
BOOSTED BOOSTERDetails
Increases the Damage Booster's area and its damage bonus. Choose it to support teammates fighting from different nearby angles. Its Buffie upgrade also makes the booster periodically produce ammunition pickups; do not expose yourself just to collect one.
PLUGGED INDetails
Increases 8-Bit's movement speed near his Damage Booster. Use that mobility to adjust firing angles and return toward cover rather than standing still beside the structure. With its Buffie upgrade, the booster also increases nearby teammates' movement speed.
Hypercharge1 options
AIMBOTDetails
Gives the damage booster a laser that attacks nearby enemies. It can contribute offensive pressure as well as supporting teammates, but remains a placed object whose location and survival determine its value.

Gears6 options
DAMAGEDetails
Increases damage while the Brawler is below half health. The extra pressure is conditional, not a reason to remain in a losing exchange.
GADGET COOLDOWNDetails
Reduces the wait between Gadget uses. Choose it when repeated access to the selected Gadget meaningfully supports the fight.
HEALTHDetails
Improves health recovery. Leave enough room for natural recovery to begin instead of expecting the Gear to erase damage during continued attacks.
SHIELDDetails
Adds a consumable shield that recovers while the Brawler is at full health. Preserve recovery time between fights to restore the extra protection.
SPEEDDetails
Increases movement speed in bushes. Its value depends on having useful bush routes rather than simply equipping it on an open map.
VISIONDetails
Briefly reveals hidden opponents after you damage them. It helps track targets entering bushes, but does not reveal invisibility granted by abilities.

8-Bit combines bursts of laser fire with a Damage Booster that strengthens nearby teammates. His play revolves around establishing a useful firing position and placing the booster where allies can benefit without abandoning cover. Treat it as support for territory your team can hold, not an invitation to stand together in an exposed spot.
How to play: Pick a firing lane with a retreat route and track the opponent through the laser burst. Before placing the booster, consider both its safety and the positions your teammates actually want to use. A structure hidden too far behind the fight may survive but contribute little. Move the team's pressure forward only when there is a defensible position to work from.
Strengths: The booster can improve several allies' damage during the same engagement. Boosted Booster expands that support, while Plugged In gives 8-Bit extra movement near the structure. Cheat Cartridge offers a return to the booster, and Extra Credits adds an aimed barrage that can be used while his main attack is firing.
Limitations: Much of his utility depends on the booster remaining useful and accessible. Opponents can pressure its position or force the fight elsewhere. Grouping tightly around it invites concentrated attacks, and a teleport into an enemy-controlled location is not an escape. Extra Credits still needs a clear firing lane rather than a target hidden behind a wall.
Practical tips: Leave room for teammates to spread out inside the useful area instead of sharing one firing angle. Recheck the booster's surroundings before using Cheat Cartridge, especially after losing sight of an opponent. When considering Extra Credits, wait for an enemy committed to a route; firing a larger barrage does not compensate for aiming at empty space.
