Yes, Monster Hunter Outlanders supports controllers on mobile. At launch, that covers hunting, the quest system and world exploration. TiMi describes this as initial Season 0 support, with more of the game still being adapted. Keep your touchscreen within reach rather than planning a completely controller-only session. TiMi launch announcementCheck gameplay before judging your controller
- Connect your controller using the instructions for your phone and controller. Check that the phone recognizes it before testing the game.
- When you can explore or hunt, try movement, camera control and combat separately. A menu that ignores your controller does not tell you whether hunting controls work.
- If a screen does not respond to the controller, try touch input to continue. Note which screen needed it so you can distinguish a menu limitation from a problem affecting gameplay.
If the controller still does not respond
First check the connection outside Outlanders, using another game you already know supports that controller. If it works there but not during an Outlanders hunt, record your phone model, operating-system version, controller model, connection method and game version, plus the action that failed.
Send those details to support_mho@proximabeta.com, the contact listed on the official game website. Include a screenshot of any error or controller prompt.
