A Brawler Blast without a choice is an expected outcome. Supercell gives the choice event a 50% chance; when it appears, it offers two to four Brawlers. If only one Brawler of that rarity remains locked, no choice appears.

Find the current unlock screen

Tap Brawlers on the home screen to open the Brawler list and access Brawler Blast. Blast replaced Starr Road, so older instructions about selecting a Starr Road target no longer describe this system.

  1. Check the rarity and required Credits shown for your next unlock. Reaching the Credit requirement starts Blast.
  2. The gallery has ten same-rarity targets. Knockdowns leave one final Brawler, which is the unlock; do not plan around receiving your preferred character.
  3. If a choice appears, compare the offered characters before selecting. A 50% chance does not promise a choice every second Blast.
  4. If you are considering Unlock Now, check its wording first. The Gem option accelerates a random unlock, not a guaranteed purchase of the character you want.

Blank targets and bonus rewards

Fewer than ten remaining Brawlers of a rarity produces blank targets. Those blanks do not reduce the chance of earning Gem Fragments. Bonus upgrades are possible, not a promise that every unlock arrives fully upgraded. You can receive an ability before reaching the Power Level required to use it.

Trying to unlock one specific Brawler?

Check whether a current Trophy Road milestone names that Brawler or whether an available offer explicitly includes them. Trophy Road can award a named Brawler or offer a choice at certain milestones; Shop offer contents vary. Read the actual reward rather than assuming any unlock button targets the same character.

Newly released Brawlers are not immediately available through Blast. Check their Brawler Box event instead. Do not spend Gems on a random Blast expecting it to bypass that availability rule.
